Passo Tonale is a paradise for cross country skiers.

There is a 5 km piste in Passo Tonale, an 9 km piste in Ponte di Legno and at the Cross Country Skiing Centre in Vermiglio there are 30 km of pistes split into 6 loops.
The pistes at the Vermiglio Cross Country Skiing Centre weave in and out through the evocative setting of conifer woods, characteristic farmsteads and the peaks of Presanella.
The Cross Country Skiing Centre offers the following services: bar with hot meals, ski school, heated changing rooms and showers, ice-skating rink, ski hire and application of ski wax, biathlon stadium, competition office.
The Centre is part of Trentino Nordic Skipass, the sole ski pass that can be used for accessing all the main cross country skiing centres in Trentino.
